Cranberry and Pear Champagne Cocktail

I had to take a break from cooking to do some drinking. And this is what happened.

This recipe was inspired by none other than good ol’ Martha Stewart (Pomegranate Champagne Punch), who I’m convinced is secretly the real Mrs. Claus. This drink can really be created with any nectar, juice and champagne combination. I couldn’t find pear nectar, so I used cranberry nectar and pear juice instead. You couldn’t taste the champagne, which doesn’t need to be all that expensive, so I considered it a win in my book. I went with a champagne that I was told was in between the dry French champagne and sweet Prosecco. I’m obviously not the champagne expert so creating cocktails sounds like a good excuse to become one!

So cheers to the first day of December! The month where every day is an excuse to celebrate. Tis the season for drinking (safely)!
